Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation Review

This foundation is for all skin types, 15-hour staying power, looks fresh and flawless through heat, humidity. Won't change color, smudge, or come off on clothes. Lightweight, has a medium, buildable coverage. Won't clog pores, oil-controlling, oil-free, fragrance-free. Dermatologist and Ophthalmologist tested.

This is an amazing foundation that I have been testing out. When you apply the foundation you can have one layer that is medium coverage but you can apply more layer for a full coverage and it won't look cakey. I think one layer is enough because it covers my redness, blemishes, and undereye circles. It drys to a powder finish, this foundation doesn't transfer on clothing or doesn't wipe away on your nose if you wear glasses or sunglasses. I have acne-prone skin and I don't break out with this foundation. I do wish this had a pump but MAC cosmetics sells a pump that fills this bottle. I have oily skin as well and I find this foundation keeps my face matte for more than 8 hours. As for taking this to the gym I think you will feel the foundation sitting on your face and you will be oily but it will still not transfer. The way I apply this foundation is with a buffing brush like F80 from Sigma or Real Techniques Expert Face brush. I have used the beauty blender with this foundation but it doesn't give me the same application as a brush. The color selection is over 30 with direction kinds of tones and shades. I'm in shade 2C1 Pure Beige which is a bit yellow on me. For a higher-brand name this foundation is $37 which is cheaper than other higher-brand names like Dior or Giorgio Armani. This foundation is a absolute must have or must try! You can find on Sephora or Estée Lauder main website and get 15% off for your first purchase.
