BECCA X Jaclyn Hill

Becca cosmetics invited Jaclyn Hill for a collaboration and created a beautiful highlight called Champagne Pop. Jaclyn Hill is a makeup artist/youtuber and you don't already go watch her on youtube and subscribe.

Jaclyn if you ever happen to read this I want you to know that I am a huge fan and I'm very proud of your huge accomplishment. You broke a record on Sephora!? That's crazy because it's Sephora YOU KNOW?! So congratulations, I look forward to your next projects and collaborations with other brands. And hopefully in the future with your own cosmetics. Maybe I'll even meet you in the future! Again CONGRATS! - Your Friend Jacy.

This highlight is described as a soft white gold with pinky peach undertones and cost $38 usd. This is also limited edition so you should act fast if you want this highlight it should be in stores July 16th everywhere and its already being sold in some Sephora stores. The pigment is so opaque and is long lasting on the skin. I have compared some highlighter like Opal by BECCA, Indiscretion by Laura Mercier, and the highlight from the Filmstar Bronze & Glow by Charlotte Tilbury. Out of the three the one I found similar to Champagne Pop was Charlotte Tilbury but it's more sheer than Champagne Pop. Opal is a darker gold it almost appears orange same with Indiscretion which is a soft rose gold. (Indiscretion is a limited edition) I'm not pale but I do look like I need a tan, but this highlight is beautiful on the face. I do think it can suit every skin tone but I have seen that a lot of porcelain skintones find it hard to apply or don't think it suits them. My advice is applying it using your fingers. Using a highlighting brush or a blending eyeshadow brush with less brush hair picks up a lot of product and using your fingertips sheers out.
